ZipSnap is a zip code lookup utility for iOS. Your privacy is important to us, and ZipSnap was designed with a simple principle: your data stays on your device.

What Data Does ZipSnap Access?

Location Data When you tap “Find My Zip Code,” ZipSnap requests your device’s GPS coordinates to determine your current zip code, city, and state. This location data is processed entirely on your device using Apple’s built-in geocoding services. Your location is never transmitted to any external server, stored in a database, or shared with anyone.

Location access is optional. You can deny the permission request and still use the address search and zip code lookup features without granting location access.

Address and Zip Code Searches When you search for a zip code by address or look up a zip code’s locality, this processing is handled on-device by Apple’s built-in geocoding services. ZipSnap does not operate any servers and does not transmit your search queries to any third party.

What Data Does ZipSnap Collect?

None. ZipSnap does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:

• No analytics or tracking tools are used.
• No advertising networks are integrated.
• No third-party SDKs that collect data are included.
• No account creation is required or offered.
• No cookies or identifiers are used.
• No data is sold to or shared with any third party.

Data Retention

Because ZipSnap does not collect any data, there is nothing to retain. All location and search information exists only in your device’s memory while the app is in use and is not persisted.

Children’s Privacy

ZipSnap does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Third-Party Services

ZipSnap uses Apple’s Core Location and CLGeocoder APIs, which are built into iOS. These services are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. No other third-party services are used.

Your Rights

Since ZipSnap does not collect or store any personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, export, or delete. If you wish to revoke location access at any time, you can do so in your device’s Settings under Privacy & Security > Location Services > ZipSnap.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
